Dahlia String Trio
Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Dahlia String Trio plays a wide array of repertoire, ranging from Bach and Mozart to Schoenberg and Miecyzław Weinberg. The trio was founded in 2016 after a performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations in which the three international musicians quickly found a common musical language and passion for playing chamber music. They are recognized for their colorful, dynamic playing and warm sound, keeping audiences spellbound. The three musicians have made it their mission to work as ambassadors of the modern and postmodern repertoire, making it understandable to a broader audience.
Dahlia String Trio performs regularly in many chamber music societies in Denmark, and in addition to performing the extensive and fascinating repertoire for string trio, they occasionally expand their range of works by inviting both Danish and international musician friends to join their concerts.
